Call for Nominations
All around us are gifted and compassionate people dedicating their time to survivors of crime and disasters. They commit endless hours assisting victims in the aftermath of crime and disasters, educating the public about the needs of those impacted by a traumatic event and raising the standard of services for survivors.
We encourage you to look around your program and nominate your colleagues for recognition at our 25rd Annual Training Symposium in May. This is the one opportunity you have to give your colleagues and friends the provincial recognition they deserve for their dedicated service to those in need and to raise the standard of the profession.
Please take the time to review our nomination process and take a few minutes to make your nomination. The awards ceremony will be held during our Symposium.
The nomination committee will review all nominations received and select our winners based on a number of criteria, described on the downloadable nominiation forms below.:
To nominate a colleague or a friend for PVSBC's Awards of Excellence, please download and complete the forms below and submit it via e-mail, mail or fax to Police Victim Services of British Columbia.
Community Awards includning the categories of Victim/Survivor - Light of Hope, Corporate/Community Leadership, and Criminal Justice System Leadership.
Outstanding Staff of the Year in the Client Services or Leadership categories
Outstanding Volunteer of the Year in the categories of Client Services, Leadership, Teamwork and Long-term Service.
