Supporting Survivors Experiencing Technology-FacilitatedGender-Based Violence (3 hours)

Hosted by Tech Safety Canada, a project of Women’s Shelter Canada. Technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) is when technology (such as a smartphone, computer, Smartwatch, or a Smart home device) is misused to commit violent abusive acts such as domestic violence, harassment, stalking, sexual assault, impersonation, extortion, and the non-consensual filming and sharing of intimate images.

As an anti-violence worker, your help can make a difference to someone experiencing TFGBV. This free 3-hour virtual training will explore technology-facilitated violence against women and learn about practical strategies and resources to enhance safety through safety planning and the preservation of digital evidence.
